Jen Lemons has nailed it. She has really captured the arrogance, the angst and the contradiction that is young adulthood.. The storyline is intriguing and fast paced. Each chapter, each paragraph for that matter, propels the storyline forward. Plots and subplots added depth and texture to the story I found surprisingly entertaining considering I'm a 50yr old man reading a story told through a young woman's eyes. Jen's style of writing reminds of a young John Grisham: fast, on point and void of useless, aimless descriptions. I love it when an author doesn't waste my time and a whole chapter describing an end table that has nothing to do with the story... Thank you Jen for the hours of entertainment. I can't wait for to read your next novel...

This book was amazing! I loved Jinx, Ace, and X. The characters were well developed in my opinion and nothing felt rushed about this book. I fell in love with the characters and I felt he emotions that Jinx felt throughout the story. I would give this book a 98 out of 100! And I would definitely recommend this book to anyone! I can't wait until the next book in the series comes out! I will be waiting on it.

The story was well written. Enough twists and turns to make it interesting and still be realistic. I am, of course, curious to see how the storyline will differ in future novels if she continues writing them. I sure hope she continues because she left me hanging at the end of the book and anxiously waiting for the next. I liked how her mother's death was the cause for her introverted ways. She let no one in, which I think added to her desparity of wanting to feel wanted. Which is also why she wanted to be friends with X so badly. I would recommend this book as I rated it five out of five stars. Definitely better than I expected, in a good way of course. Suspenseful, funny, and interesting, this book is absolutely amazing.
